Located at 1134 Roanoke Road (Old Highway 127) in Jamestown, Tennessee.

We are open only during "The World's Longest Yard Sale" which takes place every August. It officially  starts on the first Thursday of August and runs through Sunday, a total of four days. We open the previous Friday and stay open through the end of the sale, thus being open a total of ten days.

At present the sale is 675 miles long. On the Southern end, it starts in Gadsen, Alabama. Originally it ended in Cincinnati, Ohio - but in recent years has been extended further North and now ends in Hudson, Michigan.

The year 2011 was our 12th year of setting up for the event in Jamestown, Tennessee. "The World's Longest Yard Sale" originated in Jamestown, Tennessee in 1987.

Some pictures are shown on our web site and these were all taken during the 2011 sale. Merchandise always changes of course, and you will never know what you will find at Good Junk Cheap. In 2012 we will be opening the "Crazy Place" area where everything is just $1.00 (One Dollar)!

When traveling "The World's Longest Yard Sale" always look for our signs set out on Highway 127. We are located on "Old Highway 127" which was the main road until a short stretch of 4 lane was built in our county, Fentress County, in 2001. Should you miss our signs - you will not miss our 14 foot neon fish sign mounted on an old Dodge pick-up truck. It is always out on the main road during the event.

Our web site is for information only on our store. We do not do e-mail, and the phone is only answered during the event! "Working" only 10 days a year is a dream come true! The rest of the time we are out "Pickin in Tennessee" or elsewhere.
